BLOOG DEVOTIONS REFLECTION

We are created in GOD'S image. This means I have GOD-given creativity and talents
This week we read the parable of three servants.

It's about God giving us unique talents like drawing, fixing computers, telling stories and jokes and etc.
the story is about three servants and one boss/man. he gave 5 bags of good coins to the first servant, then he gave 2 bags of coins to the second servant and lastly he gave 1 coin to the last servant. the last servant buried the coin in the ground and the first and second servants made profit.

something that taught me is to not hide your gifts/abilities, use them, grow them and work with others in your talent. *dar man moment*

I can apply this parable today by giving people my stuff, or if someone gives something to me, I make it worth it

A limerick of a cricket

In class, we have a goal to know different types of poems and their features.
Limerick is a short poem that only has 5 lines, it's sometimes funny, the 1st, 2nd and 5thhave to rhyme with each over, and the 3rd and 4th have to rhyme with each over as well.
Here is an example of a limerick poem (I wrote independently).
I once knew a cricket
Every day he brought a lottery ticket
He became rich
But still lived in a ditch
That's the cricket who brought a ticket. I’m leaving this school

Jonah's Pride

WALT use study the bible to gain an understanding that we all need  God's help, mercy, love and we are all called us to forgive others.

The Bible records many stories about "forgiving". The Lord Jesus also taught us like this: when we forgive men when they sin against us, our heavenly father will also forgive us. However, it's hard to forgive from our hearts. With God’s help you can forgive.

Your assignment is to research "forgiving", in the bible and share what you learned. You will need to use reference material such as biblegateway.com or search engines to locate stories of forgiveness in the Bible.

Begin by brainstorming possible topics and bible references

Create your own framework to record bible references you will read, key events within it and your thoughts. In week 8 you will use this to write what you learned from the bible about forgiveness.
How did I go ⚫   ✅    ✅✅     ✅✅✅
My self-assessment
I can use reference material to locate starting points (bible stories) relevant to forgiveness
I can create a framework to record my key ideas and notes
I can read the bible independently
I can use my notes to write about what I learned about forgiveness

First Hot Task

In class we read First, our task was to make up our own ending of the story...
Sentences variety
Figurative  and descriptive language

Most exciting part

Dad was rushing outside, Ryder was not in site “Ryder- come back here” Dad yelled. Then he found Ryder. He was hiding around the bush” what are you doing?”Dad asked Ryder's eyes started to burst with tears“how come all of the other people have water, but not us” Ryder cried, then he just ran back home and buried his face into mum. Mum can see Ryder's guilt” are you ok sweetie,” Mum said in a sweet voice” I regret what I've done, stealing water that's wrong.”

Solution

“I just want water, you guys work for AQUA-PLEX How come we don't get water” Ryder cried. “ Because we're broke,” mum laughed. “Our grass needs water, look at it, it's parched and our clothes stink,” said  Ryder, then it started to rain. Dad got back inside, dad apologized to Ryder.” I know we don’t have water, but it's bad to steal, don’t do it again” said Dad “ok dad,” Ryder said in a sad voice.

Ending

“Now it's raining, our grass will be growing now” brook happily said,” let's go outside and see what it looks like!”Brook said well jumping with joy then Ryder and Brook went to play our side well it's raining, they had a fun afternoon well it’s raining. It was the first time in ages, it felt like years without water then Brooke got some bowls for the water to go in. They can finally drink.
